About
Greetings from the Deep South of Alabama (USA)!
My name is Michael and I love technology. I have been an avid computer user since I was 9 and my father brought home our very first computer: an Apple IIe. I loved that computer. I played a game called Aztec to death. I learned some basic BASIC commands. From there we moved to a Macintosh Color Classic for a couple of years.
In 1995, I bought my very first computer: a PowerComputing PowerCurve 120…yep, the Macintosh clone! I kept that machine for a number of years, then when it died, I left the Mac community for the dreaded switch to Windows. I had a number of Windows machines over the next 8 or so years, most of them I built myself. That really taught me a lot about how PCs work, knowledge that I still use to this day.
In 2007 I returned to the Mac community with my purchase of a 15″ Macbook Pro, a machine that I absolutely love! At work, I still use Windows. Currently I have a Dell Latitude E6500 with Windows 7, also a machine that I love!
